He pastored
churches in Golborne (Lancashire), Newark (Nottinghamshire), Brentwood
(Essex), and Luton (Bedfordshire) before becoming a full-time Bible
College lecturer.
Bible College lecturer
As a lecturer for over 20 years at Mattersey Hall (AoG Bible
College) he majored on New Testament subjects and the Philosophy of
Religion. He also served as Director of Studies. He was
involved with the Carraig Eden Theological College in Ireland.
Academic record
BD (hons) & BA (hons, philosophy) with London University;
MTh & MPhil with Nottingham University. His research degree
considered 1 Corinthians 13 and Paul's understanding of faith. Other
works include: The Study of Miracles and Mission in Luke-Acts; Explain
the Word (Hermeneutics); Preach the Word (Homiletics).
Personal Interests
Art, Bible, Philosophy, Photography, Preaching, Swimming and
Theology.
Musical tastes
Electronic music, Gospel music and Classic FM. Books: The
Bible, The Pilgrim's Progress and mainly non-fiction.
