INTRODUCTION TO THE WEBSITE
THIS website invites Bible students to study the New Testament books
attributed to Luke, the second generation Christian, who became a
missionary companion to the apostle Paul. The studies will benefit
those involved in teaching and pastoral ministry.
Learning outcomes of the notes
The website is prepared to develop a general study and appreciation of
the Lucan writings. Teachers may consider the following learning
outcomes:
Account for the contents of the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the
Apostles Appreciate Luke's interest in the person and work of the Holy
Spirit Given an account of the place of the Spirit in the life and
ministry of Jesus Christ Demonstrate the idea of "continuation" between
the Third Gospel and Acts Discuss the charismatic ministry of Jesus
Christ and the church.
